Paulins Kill Valley Trail · Kittatinny Valley State Park

Northwest New Jersey's finest canoe stream — the Paulins Kill flows 41 miles through rolling farmland and limestone spring country to the Delaware River. Spring-fed and unusually clear for a New Jersey river, the Paulins Kill supports wild brown trout in its upper reaches. Class I–II paddling through a pastoral landscape that feels more like Pennsylvania Dutch country than the Garden State.

Data Quality

River conditions are community-verified. CFS ranges, difficulty ratings, and trip sections may not reflect every flow level or seasonal change. Always check current conditions, scout unfamiliar rapids, and paddle within your skill level. If you spot an error, use the Improve This River button at the top of the page — your local knowledge is what makes this atlas accurate.
